Hello world!

You might be wondering why this generic WordPress.com welcome is left here. Well, I was going to delete it (once I figured out how, ahem) and then the tall one walks over and looks at the blog, and we discuss the point of the blog (which, I'll admit that there isn't one, really, BUT THERE IS! I read about it in the New Yorker and I will write about it later). Then he says that "Hello World" is a popular computer statement that is always used from the beginning of programming.
He seemed rather put-out about that, because "Hello World" isn't really appropriate for computer geeks (which I mean lovingly, as obviously I am using one). It should probably be "Hello, End User" or at least "Hello, Fellow Computer User."
Because, you know, the whole world won't be reading your blog.
